STORTORGET Hand-Knitted Alpaca Fair Isle Cowl is design by Olga Begak. The cowl is named after the main square in Gamla Stan (the Old Town) of Stockholm, known for its charming medieval houses. The cowl is double-sided, featuring two different patterns — houses and chains. It is hand-knitted from high-quality Peruvian alpaca wool by DROPS Design. DROPS Alpaca is a beautiful yarn spun from 100% superfine alpaca. The alpaca fiber is untreated, which means that it is only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing. This highlights the fiber’s natural properties, while it also provides a better shape and texture quality. Garments made in this yarn are lightweight and comfortable, super soft directly on the skin, and have a nice characteristic sheen.
Knitting pattern for this cowl is available here.
