Triangles Fair Isle hat, featuring a bold checkerboard pattern of triangles — striking to look at, yet simple enough for confident beginners to knit. The pattern comes as a PDF with written instructions in English, charts and photos, available for immediate download after payment. It prints onto A4 or US Letter paper. You will need software such as Adobe Reader to access it (see adobe.com).
This is easy level knitting pattern; the following skills are required: Cast on, Knit, Purl, Circular Knitting, Color Knitting, Bind off. All measurements are given in US and metric. Hat is knitted in one piece. Full pattern support is available via message or email.

Shown here in three colorways — mustard and jewel tones, warm neutrals for kids, and classic black-and-white — to suit any style.

Kid — 17"–20" | 44–51 cm circumference,
Adult — 22"–24" | 56–60 cm,
Large Adult — 23"–25" | 60–64 cm.

YARN: Any aran weight yarn. I used DROPS Nepal yarn.

90 yds | 55 g (98 yds | 60 g for Large Adult) in goldenrod color (2923),
18 yds | 10 g in olive (7238),
18 yds |  10 g in forest (8906),
18 yds  | 10 g in royal blue (6790),

GAUGE: 4" × 4" | 10 cm × 10 cm = 17 sts × 22 rows in stockinette stitch.

NEEDLES: Circular or double pointed needles US 6–7 | 4–4.5 mm.
