Penguin Duo Knitting Patterns Set • Icelandic Lopapeysa Sweater & Hat

PENGUIN Icelandic Lopapeysa sweater is a unique design in the tradition of Icelandic knitting. 

The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round: body and sleeves are knitted from the lower edge up to the underarms, then joined to form the yoke. The round begins at the left side of the body, and shifts to the left back side at the joining point of body and sleeve.

The matching hat follows the same design language, creating a cohesive set that can be worn together or separately.

Both knitting patterns are included as PDF files with written instructions in English, charts, and photos, available for instant download after purchase. The sweater pattern includes a detailed size chart, basic measurements, and calculations to help guide you through the construction. The chart is versatile and can also be used as a base for other lopapeysa designs.
