Penguin Duo Knitting Patterns Set • Icelandic Lopapeysa Sweater XS–5XL & Hat

Penguin Duo knitting pattern set, featuring a penguin and snowflake motif in blue, black, white and yellow, is inspired by Antarctic's iconic bird. This set includes my Penguin hat and Penguin Icelandic lopapeysa sweater patterns — also available separately.

The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round: body and sleeves are knitted from the lower edge up to the underarms, then joined to form the yoke. The round begins at the left side of the body, and shifts to the left back side at the joining point of body and sleeve.

The matching hat follows the same design language, creating a cohesive set that can be worn together or separately.

The patterns come as a PDF with written instructions in English, charts and photos, available for immediate download after payment. The sweater pattern includes a detailed size chart, basic measurements, and calculations to help guide you through the construction. The chart is versatile and can also be used as a base for other lopapeysa designs.

YARN: Léttlopi by Ístex (100% Icelandic wool). Featured colours are 9418 Stone Blue, 0051 White, 1700 Air Blue, 0005 Black Heather, 1703 Mimosa.
