Norrsken Snowflake Fair Isle Double-Layer Scarf Knitting Pattern

Norrsken Fair Isle scarf, named after the Swedish word for Northern Lights (norrsken) — a snowflake and geometric pattern in gradient purple and cream, evoking the shimmer of the aurora over snow. The pattern comes as a PDF with written instructions in English, charts and photos, available for immediate download after payment.
This is easy/intermediate level knitting pattern; the following skills are required: Cast on, Knit, Circular Knitting, Color Knitting, Bind off. This scarf is a great design to practise your Fair Isle knitting. As it's knitted in the round, you knit pattern on the right side only.
All measurements are given in US and metric. Scarf is knitted in one piece.

Width — 15" | 40 cm
Length — 78" | 200 cm

YARN: Any DK weight yarn. You may also use Sport or Fingering yarn in 2 treads. I used Nordic Wool by Novita.
1255 yds |  500 g in primary lavender color,
450 yds |  180 g in secondary off white color.

GAUGE: 4" × 4" | 10 cm × 10 cm = 22 sts × 28 rows in stockinette stitch.

NEEDLES: Circular or double pointed needles US 4 | 3.5 mm.
