The NORRSKEN Fair Isle scarf knitting pattern comes as a PDF with written instructions, charts and photos which you can download immediately after the payment. It prints onto A4 or US Letter paper. You will need a program such as Adobe Reader to access it (see adobe.com).
This is easy/intermediate level knitting pattern; the following skills are required: Cast on, Knit, Circular Knitting, Color Knitting, Bind off. This scarf is a great design to practise your Fair Isle knitting. As it's knitted in the round, you knit pattern on the right side only.
All measurements are given in US and metric. Scarf is knitted in one piece. Furthermore full pattern support is available by email.

SIZE:
Width — 15" | 40 cm
Length — 78" | 200 cm

YARN: Any DK weight yarn. You may also use Sport or Fingering yarn in 2 treads. I used Nordic Wool by Novita.
1255 yds |  500 g in primary lavender color,
450 yds |  180 g in secondary off white color.

GAUGE: 4" × 4" | 10 cm × 10 cm = 22 sts × 28 rows in stockinette stitch.

NEEDLES: Circular or double pointed needles US 4 | 3.5 mm.
