The Gray Fair Isle hat features a simple, easy-to-follow traditional design in white and four shades of gray. The pattern comes as a PDF with written instructions in English, charts and photos, available for immediate download after payment.
This is easy level knitting pattern; the following skills are required: Cast on, Knit, Purl, Circular Knitting, Color Knitting, Bind off. All measurements are given in US and metric. Hat is knitted in one piece. Full pattern support is available by email.
SIZES:
Kid — 20"–21" | 50–54 cm circumference,
Adult — 22"–24" | 56–60 cm,
Large Adult — 23"–25" | 60–64 cm.
YARN: Any aran weight yarn. I used DROPS Nepal yarn.
For Adult size:
82 yds | 50 g in medium gray color (0517),
50 yds | 30 g off white (0100),
33 yds | 20 g dark gray (0506),
33 yds | 20 g light gray (0501).
GAUGE: 4" × 4" | 10 cm × 10 cm = 17 sts × 22 rows in stockinette stitch.
NEEDLES: Circular or double pointed needles US 6–7 | 4–4.5 mm.
