US Flag Icelandic Lopapeysa Sweater Knitting Pattern • American Pullover Design (PDF)

US FLAG Lopapeysa is a combination of two patterns — alternating red and white stripes (seven stripes, starting and ending with red) and white stars on a blue background on the yoke. The body and sleeves are worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarms, then joined to work the yoke in the round. The round begins at the left side of the body. On the yoke, the round begins at the left side of the back, at the join of the body and sleeve.
The pattern includes a table of sizes, basic measurements, and calculations to help guide you while working on your sweater. The table is versatile and can be used for any lopapeysa. Most measurements are given in both US and metric units.

The Flag Lopapeysa knitting pattern is provided as a PDF with written instructions in English, charts and photos, available for immediate download after payment. It is formatted for A4 and US Letter paper. You will need software such as Adobe Reader to open the file.
